Best Weekend this Year!

So it's the first full weekend of the year - but HELLO it was the Best Weekend EVER around here! We started our Friday with a birthday party with the neighbors! We went to HELL Chuck E. Cheese and after playing games and eating pizza and having a turn in the Ticket Booth with the birthday boy? The Boy was ready to pick a prize. His heart was set on a hand buzzer but we didn't have enough tickets. I said hurry up and decided SON told The Boy that he could either buy something for less tickets or save his tickets. The Boy looks at the Chuck E. employee, looks at me, and then says "Yeah but you said you hate Chuck E Cheese so how will we come back?" Niiiiice. Thankfully a friend gave The Boy the tickets he needed to get the buzzer and I never have to go back to Chuck E Cheese this year we all lived happily ever after.

Saturday found us with a trip to the movies with the 'cousins' and then a play date/sleepover with Cason! The Guys had a blast playing in the cul de sac and after dinner out we headed home to get clean/put on PJs/watch a movie. Was a great time with Cason and we'll have to do it again sometime soon!

AND THEN after church today? Play date with BFF from Kindergarten/1st grade! Aidan came over for 3 hours and the kids all rode bikes/scooters/razor bikes, played DS, played wiffle ball, and had snow cones!

And after Aidan left The Boy rode his bike a little longer, got a smidgen more dirt on his face and later ate mini-homemade-pizzas, played with his pirate ship and finally - finally! - has gone to bed.
We are gearing up for school starting back this week. Sure to be crazy busy around here! Be safe. make good choices. ~ Shan.
