Rockin New Year's Eve

We partied it up on NYE with a family gathering at Uncle Wesley & Aunt Amanda's house! The Boy had a blast playing outside, inside, chasing ghosts and showing off his awesome dance moves!

I ended up bringing in the year by myself, as the fellas crashed shortly after getting home. Many wishes for happiness and health in the year to come!

Bye Little Luci

This morning around 10:38 a.m. Luci (aka Little Luci aka Lu aka Luce) went to be with Jesus and Grandfather in heaven. It was a very sad morning for the Hardegrees. She was buried in a private ceremony behind the shed. Luci was the best first guinea pig we ever had and we will really miss her tons

Christmas and Family

We've been partying it up around these parts - Christmas with my family, Christmas with Granny, and Christmas in Athens! Lots of cool new prizes and lots of good times with family - and let's not forget all the good food, too!

Aquarium Anniversary Trip

This year we had a blast on our 9th Wedding Anniversary when we drove to the ATL to visit the aquarium! The Boy LOVED it and has grand plans to return for his birthday!

Gingerbread Fun!

We had a blast at our party tonight. The kids LOVED making their Gingerbread Houses!

And I must say they all did a fabulous job!

It's All Fun and Games . . .

. . . until someone slams their fingers in the car door.

Right after school, The Boy got out of the car, heard the wind blowing hard, and thought a tornado was coming despite the fact that there was no rain and the sun was shining. Immediate swelling and an inability to move the first two fingers yielded a quick trip to Pediatric Acute Care. Thankfully no break but a crazy bad bruise and the instructions of No Writing For The Rest Of The Week. Unlike every other kid in America, The Boy is all in a tizzy, as he can only think of his Historical Figures project due in ten days. Rest assured he does not get that from his mother.

Welcome to the World Kaleb!

We are PSYCHED that Baby Kaleb is here! The Boy was able to meet his newest cousin a mere 12 hours after he was born. Now maybe we can 'get some facts' about him!

But perhaps one of the funnest parts of the visit? Hanging out on the counter and making random bunny ears while talking about hot garbage with his Uncle Wesley!

Annual Santa Trip - AKA One of the Best Days of his LIFE

After singing at The Landings this morning, we made a quick stop at El Carrizo then headed over to see Santa!

We continued the tradition with the 'cousins' and brought our BFF Alex along, too!

After telling Santa we want a tarantula and Cars2 toys, we hit up the local pet stores with Alex. Ended the evening playing at Alex's house while the adults watched the UGA game. The Boy deemed it one of the best days of his LIFE.
